The disease is similar to the standard types, but can cause neurological problems and complication. Also a lot of kids get deterioration of cognition, which is quite serious issue for the patients. The cerebral malaria is caused by the plasmodium falciparum and has cerebral complications for the patient. The basic cerebral malaria symptoms are fever, Seizures, Coma and Neurological symptoms. The disease is connected with whitening of the whitening of the eye retina, which is good symptom to define malaria from other fever diseases. The other symptoms of malaria and periodical sweating can also define the disease and allow for the patient to diagnose it.

All the acute cases of malaria are almost always caused by infection with P. falciparum. The bacteria has incubation period of about 7 days, so all the cases are revealing in 6 to 14 days after the infection. If the acute cerebral malaria is not treated fast and accurate, the disease can bring the patient to a lot of complications and death. Definitely the most dangerous is the high temperature, which makes the kids and pregnant women highly vulnerable. But all the people may have serious problems with malaria, as it is known that millions of people are dying from malaria each year. The fast development of the cerebral malaria bacterias in the body organs may kill the patient in just a few hours.

Also the possible symptoms of cerebral malaria are:
      • Splenomegaly
      • Hepatomegaly
      • Cerebral ischemia
      • Headache
      • Hypoglycemia
      • Nemoglobinuria with renal failure

All these symptoms may lead to malaria, which is serious and harmful for the health. It is officially known that more than 230 millions of people are infected by the dangerous disease each year and more of 1 millions of people are dying. In spite of the serious number of malaria cases, we should mention that with 40 per cent has decreased the number of deaths from malaria over the last decade, according to World Health Organization. But still malaria is presented in 106 countries, as large part of the world is claimed as malaria endemic area.

Definitely in some case and types of the disease and if the treatment or the diagnosis is not correct, for the patient appear some unwanted and dangerous complications. The Malaria Complications are including the life-threatening coma, respiratory and renal failure, bleeding disorders and etc. Definitely the wrong treatment of the disease can cause serious health problems in the future and even to cause some body organs dysfunction. The most dangerous Malaria Complications can be observed in infected patients with compromised immune system due to several reasons. Also the pregnant women are also particularly contingent risk.

Malaria Complications definitely can be highly dangerous and in some forms of the disease can develop for a couple of course, causing even death. The complete treatment and cure of all parasites is highly important if you want to have no Malaria Complications.
The Malaria Treatment is made with 4 amino quinolones, like Chloroquine, Arthrochin, applied in scheme in doses different for adults and children. The doses and the exact medicine for treatment is in dependence of the type of the diseases. Other medicines used for Malaria Treatment Pyrimethamine, sulfonamides and quite rarely antibiotics. When the patient is resistant to the prescribed medicines, an option in the treatment is also the quinine. Also there are a lot of complex medicines just like Fansidar and others, which are successfully used in the therapy of Malaria Treatment.

Due to consisting of the forms of parasites in the liver cells, the Three-day Malaria, which is caused by Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium оvale, should be treated also with 8 amino quinolones, such as Primaquine for longer period of time. Definitely the main treatment of malaria and prevention of the disease is done by these medicines, which are well known of the whole pharmaceuticals and medical world.

All these medicines successfully are threating the Tropical Malaria and Four-day malaria, according to the scheme prescribed by doctor. The patients, who were cured from the dangerous disease Malaria are dispensary for one year in the forms of Tropical Malaria and Four-day Malaria and three years for Three-day Malaria. This is usually done to be excluded the possibility of repeating of the disease if there are any infected parasites in the blood. The main reason for that is that the incubation period of the Three-day Malaria can exceed one year in some forms of the parasites. The complete cure of the disease is done with the medicines mentioned there and accurate following of the strict prescription from the doctor.

The treatment of malaria should be done by specialists and doctors in case to fully cure the disease and treat for all kind of complications, which are even more serious then the illness.

The Malaria diagnosis cannot be made only by following the symptoms of the disease and the . They can show that you have some infection, but usually will not give any more information and details for the disease. The symptoms of Malaria are not enough to determine exactly the disease, so when you have any doubts that you are infected with malaria, definitely should visit the hospital for medical tests. The tests are usually the typical clinical research, and some laboratory tests including parasitological tests. The detailed information for stay in an endemic area for malaria and all the mentioned tests will help for the specialists to determine exactly the type and form of the disease and give exact Malaria diagnosis.

The parasitological diagnosis is done by drop of peripheral blood from the finger. With the drop of blood is make smear on a slide glass and after special processing and staining is monitor the status of the red blood cells and the presence of parasites in them. This can easily show that if you have Malaria and what is the exact type of the disease. The different types have different morphological features. Less value has different serological medical tests.

Definitely the tests for Malaria will guarantee that you will have strength and very accurate diagnosis. Once the disease is determined, the treatment should follow the exact type of Malaria, the exact condition of the body and liver. Definitely the Malaria diagnosis is important to be done in the most accurate way, so the patient will be treated with the right medicines and the not hurt organs of the body will not be touched. The treatment of Malaria is really serious, so you should be careful for the complications of the disease, because sometimes they can be quite more serious than the whole disease.

In any illness with fever during and up to 2 years after travel in tropical countries should think about malaria and immediately to conduct diagnostic tests. The Malaria diagnosis should be placed on the same day, because the delay in treatment can cause serious health problems for the infected person

Also you should be aware that the exclusion of malaria should be done after the microscopic evidence for missing of the parasites in blood smears and “thick drop” in every 6 hours for at least 24 hours. Really the disease is quite hard to be treated and the complete remove of all the parasites will be claimed as the complete Malaria cure.

The Malaria disease is really hard to be determined, because of the long incubation period, by in any case there are a lot of Malaria symptoms, which can help you to understand, that you have exactly this disease. The first Malaria symptoms are expressed in high body temperature, shivering, arthralgius (pain in the joints), vomiting, anemia, hemoglobinurius, retinal destruction and convulsions. The incubation period of parasitism is average about 10-15 days for the Three-day Malaria and the Tropical Malaria, while for the Four-day Malaria it can reach up to 1-2 months. But these periods are not law, as there are forms of the Three-day Malaria, caused by Plasmodium vivax which incubation period can reach 1 year. In any case following strictly for malaria symptoms will help you to prevent from disorders of your health and serious problems. The symptoms of malaria can be grouper into two groups in dependence of the development of the disease.

The main Malaria symptoms are malaise, weakness, anorexia, fever, high blood temperature and sweating.

The first symptoms of Malaria are feeling of cold, lasting between half and two hours, followed by increased temperature to above 38 degrees. These symptoms are accompanied by headache, pains in joints and muscles. The phase continues 4-6 hours and in some cases the infected person can reach even seizures. The following Malaria symptoms are highly sweating and decrease of the temperature. In dependence of the Malaria type, the symptoms are repeating in 48 hours in Three-day Malaria and Tropical Malaria and 78 hours in Four-day Malaria. These cyclical spills match to the dynamics of destruction of the erythrocytes. Other important Malaria symptoms are the enlarged liver and spleen, anemia and jaundice. For reasons not fully understood, perhaps related to increased intracranial pressure, the children with malaria, often receive strong beliefs in the extremities, a sign of severe brain damage.

The sequence of Malaria symptoms is called malarial attack and repeat the prescribed period of time depending on the type of malaria. Especially in children the Malaria disease can lead to coma and death.

In rare cases Malaria can be caused by Plasmodium semiovale and Plasmodium knowlesi parasites. In this case the main Malaria symptoms of periodic change of the temperature is replaced with constant high temperature and can easily be confused with flu or some other infection. In this case the repeated infection with the same or different parasites attacks may be irregular.

When seeing even the first Malaria symptoms and you know that you have connection with the parasites or you traveled in such destinations with increased incidence of the disease you should quickly consult with doctor and go ask for hospital treatment if possible. The complications of Malaria are quite dangerous and should not be negligeed even if you know much about the disease. The treatment should be done strictly followed by doctor, because the disease is dangerous of young and old people. The complications of Malaria can cause health problem during the end of the life to the infected person and even cause serious dysfunction of the main human body organs.

The Malaria virus has certain regions of growth – subtropics and tropics. Usually the virus is met in South America and Africa, where usually the mosquitoes are larger than a bird. Of course if you want to prevent yourself from Malaria, you can use some medicaments before traveling to an endemic area. The prevention from Malaria starts one week before traveling to such area. The first used medicament is Chloroquine 300 mg consumed once for the week before traveling and 1 pill of Arthrochin 250 mg every other day of the traveling in endemic area for Malaria virus and 1 pill weekly for one month after leaving the region.

Also you can use the combined medicament Pyrimethamine, which has another scheme for getting the pills. The medicine should be used 1 pill per week before traveling and 2 pills per week in the period of traveling in such area and 1 month after it. Of course this medicine is quite stronger than the previous one and the usage of it replaces the both previous medicines.

Other preparations and dosing regimens are indicated for children, pregnant women, immunosuppressed or resistance to medicines people.

However in spite of the way of infection, the Malaria can be divided in dependence of the illness symptoms and length. The Cerebral Malaria is one of the most dangerous types of the virus. The children are more vulnerable to this type of Malaria and it may cause neurological damage and impairment of cognition. Cerebral Malaria is also related to graying of the retina, which is a useful symptom to distinguish malaria from other fevers.

The acute cases of Malaria are almost always caused by infection with Plamodium falciparum and usually occur between 6 and 14 days after the infection. If not treated accurately and fast the Acute Malaria can lead to coma and death. The most vulnerable for this type of Malaria are the young children and pregnant women. Such cases may happen and develop very quickly, leading to death within hours or days. The possible symptoms of Acute Malaria are including splenomegaly, cerebral ischemia, hepatomegaly, severe headache, hypoglycemia, and hemoglobinuria with renal failure. The renal failure can lead to liver fever, where hemoglobin enters the urine. In acute malaria mortality may exceed 20%, even with intensive treatment and care. In the highly endemic areas, the treatment is often unsatisfactory and mortality of the total cases of malaria may reach 10%.

The Chronic malaria is seen in infections with Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium оvale, but not with Plamodium falciparum. This disease may recur months or years after initial development because of the presence of latent parasites in the liver, which are not visible in the microscope medical test. For this reason, it can be concluded that the disease is completely cured when parasites disappear from the blood. Usually the incubating period of Malaria infected person is over an year, because sometimes the disease recur again after a few months and even year.
